TIES is now Sourcewell!

A Message from Jamie Loken – Managing Director

JamieLoken

A year ago, I went to my first TIES conference. I was there as an attendee. It was such a great experience, it got me thinking that everyone interested in student success should be at this conference! There might not be another venue on the planet so full of accessible, forward thinking on empowering schools and students through technology.

My role is different this year. The government organization that I worked for last year when I was attending the conference has joined forces with TIES. That organization is Sourcewell, and now as the Managing Director, I am helping the team bring our shared resources to bear on that goal of student success. We believe that technology plays a critical role in allowing educators to operate schools, innovate, and teach. In other words, technology can help us all spend more time on what is important – students.

Our Sourcewell family is passionate about community success and building responsible organizations that flourish not only as businesses, but also as social institutions. We are fortunate to be involved in the next chapter of the TIES success story. Now as Sourcewell, we are charging into the future with a commitment to provide long-term, meaningful services to our schools, educators, and students.
